Can't purchase premium content.

i'm from germany so this error related message sounds probably kinda funny to you but there it goes:

This would be no problem at all. Really. But i cant find any troubleshooting about this. Ther's one for greece,brazil and so on. Germany isn't included in that topic. Even though i tried to purchase it with the Games for Windows Live Marketplace client, without any success.

For the data: i tried to purchase it via a visa creditcard and it's about the egyptian culture pack.

What should i do? Call the customer service? I could really use some help right now =)

By the way: since we germans, statistically, aren't that much into credit cards you should think about allowing us to pay it via direct debit.

I hope i expressed myself understandable and made my error clear.

im from south africa and had the same problem with the windows live client, so do a lot of my friends, so it seems to be related to the whole issue discussed in the thread telling us to use the live client.

rather stupid, id also like some help, i gave up and bought the premium greek from the store but thats all that they offer.

wish i could be of some use other then confirming a bigger problem :S

Can you try buying 1600Microsoftpoints from a game store and use those?

1600 MSP is the point value in the USA ONLY!!! That is NOT an international number for $20.

Once again,

Pre-paid credit cards (gift cards) and Debit Cards with credit card logos are not accepted forms of credit cards with Microsoft.

A solution would be using a bank or financial issued credit card with your name on the card or going to a local retailer and purchasing a pre-paid Microsoft Points card for your region and the required amount of points needed for your country/region.

|||If you don't have access to a credit card and your region doesn't support Paypal yet, You should purchase a Microsoft points card from an AUTHORIZED RETAILER (NOT ebay) to purchase the packs that way. Please make sure you double check how many points it costs to purchase the content your interested in buying in your region before purchasing points cards.

I have access to a creditcard, it's a visa.

i'm going to go to a store and purchase those points, okay fine. this raises the price from 19,99€ to 25€ because i cant buy 80 points to hit the 1680.

if this is the only option then , i guess i ll have to do it that way.
