Is possible to raise the level of difficulty?

[:1]I have been playing with my wife in coop mode and we are now on level 14 of Greek civilization, and we found the level of difficulty of all the missions until now very easy (I have to say that we played a lot AOE 2). Is there any way to raise the level of difficulty?

play Elite quests, toggle it in the quest starting menu.

Unfortunately, Elite tends to be absolutely impossible, at least for me.

|||The game WILL get harder as you progress through it. You have to remember there has to be a learning curve for players who haven't played much RTS so they can't make it very difficult off the bat
