error code 80131509 The underlying connection was closed: an unexpected error occurred on a receive.

I downloaded the Greek Premium pack, so have spent money on a free game already, but after downloading it and launching, I get this error trying to sign into the Game for Windows Live Marketplace. I've spent an hour searching forums, trying firewall fixes and cache eradication methods as suggested by the helpful Microsoft paragraph on the matter, but nothing is working. Very few people from hat I've seen have attempted to fix this, but speak in coding jargon I can't understand.

I can't even find a customer support email address for microsoft from any of their troubleshooting links, and am left running in circles, being told to contact my service provider (which, despite it not being a problem on their end, is Virgin media, whose idea of customer service is "wait on hold for 2 hours, then speak to a machine").

Can anyone here help, or direct me to somewhere I can get help on this? I feel cheated out of my money by an unfixable bug.

*edit* This post by Alphaman275 worked! Except I am on XP and have no start search box. For those who are on xp, just click run, then regedit.exe.

"Solved my problem..

1. Click Start
   
   
   , type regedit in the Start Search box, and then click regedit.exe in the Programs list.
   
   
   If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type your password or click Continue.
2. Click Start, click Run, type regedit in the Open box, and then click OK.
3. Locate and then click the following subkey in the registry:
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\SecurityProviders\SCHANNEL
4. Right-click DisableRenegoOnClient, and then click Modify.
5. In the Value data box, type 0, and then click OK.
6. Exit Registry Editor, and then restart the computer

error code 80131509,

i think it happen 1 time and i unistall and install again... but i dont want to do that.. like everything i get this error i have to re-install? it go to be a better way... would like some replys! tkx!

when i press to play this error pops up and cant launch game.... i dunno what to do.. any solutions plz?
