i keep getting this spartan.exe-unable to locate component pop up that say's "this application has failed to start because granny2.dll was not found.Re-installing the application may fix this problem."
Now i've tried to uninstall and reinstall 4 times now and it isn't fixing it. I've read in the support section it says to run a scan and make sure i'm running as administrator.which i've done the scan didn't find anything.
I'm using a laptop running vista 32 bit,AMD turion duel core2.1 ghz,ATI radeon 3100
so any help would be very much appreciated.thanks
1. Find the file AOEOnline.exe
2. RIGHT CLICK on that file
3. Choose Run as Administrator
The game should update the files needed. That is once the game is out of the scheduled maintenance in about 2 hours.

well i suppose i could try doing that again later,but i have already done this.And from the message i get the maintenance should be done by 11 and here's it's nearly 12 so i guessing this isn't gonna be the solution,but thanks for responding.
Is there any other suggestions? other wise i guess i'll be moving on. a shame too i loved this game during the beta testing. had a blast.
