I like the game. The developers have done a great job and the free content is awesome. I'm now well entertained and more than willing to spend cash! Wait... I can't?! O.o
It's interesting how a game made available worldwide from the start only allows the purchase of premium content from a handful of countries. I've been buying from Steam, Gamersgate and even from EA's Origin in China using a Chinese credit card. However, because I'm outside of the allowed countries I can't purchase a *** thing from Windows Marketplace.
You have a really good concept with your free to play system but that's really all I can do. I'm allowed to play for free but prevented from buying premium content, which happens to be where the folks involved in this project get their due.
Well, I appreciate the entertainment and my wallet says thank you. Please let me know if you ever change your mind and allow me to spend some cash with you. Thanks for reading.

Yeah, this country discrimination is really annoying. I was trying to buy a premium civ two days ago and ran into the same problem. The Paypal option doesn't work either, since the country of the GFWL account does not match the contry of the credit card attached to Paypal. At least that was the error I encountered (I think).
What finally worked for me was the purchase of Microsoft points from an online reseller. I got the code via email and added the points to my GFWL account.
|||yeah, i did the same :)
i could buy redeem codes with VISA
