Error: 800706BA

After clicking 'Play' I receive the said error, though I've been playing the game fine for 2 weeks, and also earlier today.

I'm on Win XP.

I'd installed Visual Basic Studio 2010 in between and I'm thinking that may have caused an issue.

I've already looked up info on the 800706BA problem, in its more generic sense, which apparently is something to do with RPC (Remote Procedure Calls).

Any pointers? I'd just bought an expansion pack and as fair as I'm aware I probably wouldn't be able to run this through Wine on Linux. I certainly wouldn't buy a new version of Windows just to play AoEO ;o)

|||For anyone that gets the same error, go into the games for windows marketplace and re-install (if you got it from there). The 28MB wrapper re-installed seems to remedy this issue.
