Your Live Account has been disconnected

This seems so random. I can play for hours without an issue but any time I am in a quest for more than 50 mins this happen. Usually just as I'm about to finish. I lose all progress and faith in this game.

It is seriously frustrating.

So digging through my computers event veiwer, I found these. Yesterday there was non of this nonsense and I played all day with no issues.

Been getting random disconnects from the Live service which leads to the game disconnecting. Both my Router and Modem have DMZ enabled, I'm at a loss.

Three times today so far. Love losing progress on a quest. THIS NEEDS A FIX. Anyone help?

|||It's almost like my internet is dropping out but only for the Live account application. I have streaming video running from Hulu fine when this happens. Does not seem to be on my end.
|||Its cause Windows Live is a piece. They spend all their time on XboX live and couldnt care less about PC players. Niether me or my bro can connect and we both live hours away from each other. Its really disappointing that they choose to use Windows Dead to run AOE.

I get disconnects some times too, Im not sure if its only for Live or a complete internet connection failure but imo that is not the real issue.

The real problem is that the game does not support being able to continue the map after you reconnect..

It is completely unreasonable, specially when playing solo, that a temporary disconnection leads to having to start all over again.

So many other games support this, so it is doable indeed and it does not seem to be an early version game problem that was neglected, it seems they just did not consider it at all.

I really hope this will get rectified in the not too distant future because it is unacceptable.

Happens so randomly, sometimes once an hour sometimes once every 8 hours.

What isn't random is that it happens often enough to effect whether or not I continue to play this game.

This happens ALOT to me too. I don't get disconnected from the internet, just Xbox live.

Very annoying when doing co op or anything for that matter (especially after playing for 30-40 minutes).

I would to see a -reconnect to game option if it was within 1 or 2 minutes of being dropped

This sounds like you might have an issue with your router if you are experiencing timeouts to live. For certain types of internet connections, routers can essentially go 'idle' when they think they're not in use.

Our team is always looking at making game stability improvements.

|||Seems weird that I have Hulu streaming when this happens and see no hiccups on it.
|||I did just change my log in. I now have the automatically log me in checked. We'll see if that makes a difference.
|||Well I was hoping the "Log me in automatically" check box was going to fix this but still getting these disconnects with the same errors in my event viewer.
|||This is still an issue and game breaking for me. No way to quickly log back in and still continue a game where you left off unless co-op.
