New Inventory game crash bug

[:1]

If I open my inventory during a quest the game crashes.

If I open my inventory in a capital city the game crashes.

If I do anything that interacts with my inventory the game crashes (ie looting).

If I wait 20 seconds after game loads in the capital city (doing nothing) the game crashes.

If I quickly start a quest, the quest will load, but once I do anything inventory related the game crashes.

Help...

|||Me too, please fix. I would like to use my inventory again.|||

Any update on this?

Can a game offical let me know when I can play the game again?

Or is there any way I can open an in game ticket?

Thanks.

|||I'm having the same issue as well, doesn't matter if i try to open my inventory during a quest or on my capital, the game crashes to desktop, pretty annoying, how are we supposed to play if we can't access our inventory.
|||Yeah unfortunately I'm having this same problem and it's pissing me off. 3 times now, I've lost progression on 3 missions. I usually clear the map mostly before I go after the chest. Well each time, my bags are full when trying to loot the chest so I go to open my bags to delete something and the game crashes on me.. As there's no *** save button I LOSE EVERYTHING. Cmon microslosh windblows.... fix this ***.

Hi guys,

I had the bug in the pre-release and some other players had it in the beta. A quote from my old thread:

- Inventory crash bug. This bug started in one of the closed beta
builds, but I didn't experience the bug during closed beta. The first
time I experience this bug was in the first pre-release build. The crash
happens when you open the inventory by either the hotkey "i" or
clicking on the crate icon near the minimap.

Small description of how the bug happened to me the first time:

One
day I kept AoEO running because I had to lunch (half an hour), after I
came back I pressed "i". This is when the game crashed. Never had this
bug before. After logging out and restarting the client and pressing "i"
again would still make the game crash. Tried several combinations with
pressing "i" and clicking the crate icon. None of them worked. I
remembered a temporary fix (for closed beta), which is why I decided to
reboot my computer and open my inventory with either ways during a
quest, this worked and coming back from a quest to the capital and
opening inventory again worked also. It seems other players are still
experiencing this bug and it's kind of game breaking if the solution
does not work for them.

Additional information: Some say the bug
came up when you have "corrupted" items in your inventory. Like being
disconnected while doing something with your items, like moving and
such. But I doubt this is the problem. Another thing is, the inventory
was always full or close to full when this bug came up.

I hope it helps.
|||That's basically the problem I have except the game crashes when I open my inventory in a quest or in the capitol city. It hasn't crashed once until now that I'm level 10 and had just finished the pyramid building quest. Every time I try to open my inventory it crashes.
|||Wait I just remembered something new. I bought a chest at Moe's and after that was when I couldn't open my inventory. Anyone else have that happen to them?

If it's an item you don't need you could try vendoring or destroying it to see if it solves the problem. Trade or send it to your mail will do too, as in that case it won't stay in your inventory causing the bug (if that's in fact why the bug occurs).
