General & Trade Chat not working

I'm surprised no one else has mentioned this considering I've seen several people with the same problem.

1) General Chat is not working for me. I've tried going into options and selecting General, but that does not work. How do I fix this? (I'm on day 4 without General Chat)

2)Trade chat also does not work. I've found a work around by opening a new tab and going into the option to select trade chat, but I wish I didn't have to do so (this doesn't work for general chat)

The game itself is generally very shotty. Can you please patch soon? I know it's only been 2 weeks but there are so many small fixes that need to get looked into. If these issues aren't fixed within the next 2 weeks I know I will stop playing and considering I've already sunk money into the game, that sucks for me.

Also, can you please post information regarding updates more often? Look at games like League of Legends, Tibia & SC2 for how they use their forums. We want our MMO's to have active mod's/admin replying in the forums.

|||Experiencing the same issues. The general, trade, lfg, and party tabs bugging out. You can no longer use the right click menu on those tabs to rejoin the associated channel. So you have to use the workaround.|||Bump because I hate playing alone in a MMO

Could you please describe your problem morespecifically?

Is the issue that when you try to talk in any of your problem channels it comes up with, "please change your chat channel settings to type in this channel?"

|||That is what happens to me, it says to change the settings but when I do it still does not let me chat in the trade channel and displays the same message.

In general chat when I first log on and type something, it tells me that my settings are incorrect and to go into options to fix this. I go into the options, select general chat and click okay. General chat then stays blank- I can type but I see no one else responding or talking.

1 time (since this has been happening for 4 days now) I actually saw someone else typing! Some random player was talking and when i responded to him he told me I was the only person he saw and that he was having the same exact problem as me.

I've tried everything i can in game to fix this. I need an Admin/Mod to help at this point.

If you need more information, ask. But a quick "We're looking into this issue" would be nice. I understand this is a big game and patching takes time, but how long are we suppose to play an MMO without the MM part?

And yes, this is just a fancy bump.

You should go to Xbox.com's account management page and ensure that your Online Safety settings are not too strict that it will limit your interaction with other players.

|||Tried that (it was custom and I changed that to adult) - did not fix the problem.
|||And I am not on a family account or anything like that. I have my own account without any restrictions.

I opened and closed the game several time until it worked. It is now working, but I don't know if that will last.

|||Please fix this glitch! I was trading fine for 2 weeks and yesterday the above problems started happening for the trade and LFG tabs. General still works fine for me. I can't right click them and change any settings. Also, when I make new tabs and enable the trade setting I can't see what I or others type. As soon as I press enter it disappears. However, it seems to me that other players can see what I type because when I post an item (even though I can't see it) I sometimes get whispered offers. (Yeah whispers work but all the other chat doesn't) This along with the uninstall issue is completely ruining the game for me. Fix these ASAP!|||Yeah It seems to me that Occasionally when I start up the game it will randomly work. (however, I would still not able to change settings on trade tab) When I reopen the game again its same old same old.
