I'm having the exact same problem as you...Have been trying to buy the starter pack all day yesterday and this morning and all I get is this error.

Can anybody help?

Actually it was the Launch pack I was trying to buy. Im from the UK and trying to use my credit card.

Anyone have any ideas how to fix this???

|||I live in Greece. I get the same error through the games for windows live store. I cant buy through the game client either. Cant buy a retail copy either. We are not getting one until next week because of August holiday. This is so frustrating. I dont have any way to buy the game.|||

got the same problem - well not with my account but with my dads. i tried it on my PC and same thing - it fails. I then successfully bought it for my own account - went back and tried his and still fails.

i called the Australian support number and they have escalated the problem...it has to be something particular about the account or the payment method that is causing this problem

|||All my info is correct, I looked at my info on the account and even on the bank site just to make sure they match, and it STILL doesnt work. Also thanks for all the posts to keep this bumpin

I've been trying to get the Season Pass since mid-day yesterday. I've also tried using my card and pay-pal. I've tried from the GFWM and from the website. Every time I've attempted to purchase I get the same error:

|||Actually...I juse tried once more and i finally got to pay for it...Didnt change anything at all. It just worked

Had this issue all last and so far this morning.

Also - "Credit card number is invalid" which it isn't. I tried with an Amex and a Mastercard.I also spoke to both of my credit card companies and microsoft billing twice. As well as Paypal which is active and well but keeps getting the same error when trying to purchase the $39.99 pack with it.

My friend is having the same issue and the same message of Credit Card number is invalid... he is using a Visa.

No post on this from an official source? This is ridiculous.

Especially the credit card number is invalid... considering they were both sitting in front of me and I use them regularlyfor all sorts of online purchases...

|||I tried again about an hour ago and it didn't work with my CC, but did with PayPal. Ten minutes earlier I had tried with both and they failed. I didn't change any settings or anything.
|||Same here, getting an error when tryin to purchaise via cc and PayPal. Now im not sure if i should try to buy msp and try buying with them. Couse if they wont work also im gonna be so pissed...
