What's with the trade channel?

I can't type and link items in ingame chat trade channel. It tells me to change chat settings, but there isn't any. Also, I don't see what others are writing in trade channel. Other channels work well, and as far as I know, I'm not only one with this issue. Is it some kind of bug, and is there any way to fix it?|||

OK, here are exact instructions on how to get a working trade channel.

1. Right click the "General" tab, 3 options shouldappear"New Tab," "Close Tab" and "Options." Click "New Tab."

2. Left click the new tab to go to it. Then right click on the "New Tab" this time click "Options" from the drop-down menu.

3. In the options click the check box for "Trade," then close the options window.

4. Use the new trade channel!

I didn't change anything and no idea what the deal is. I created a new trade window, but I cannot remove/edit the old one.

Yes unfortunately this method leaves the old onecluttering your trade window. :(

I hope they come up with an official fix soon.

Error code 8007013D

when i double click on the spartan icon on my desktop and then press play the game doesnt start and i get

Are you using a business machine, trying to install or run the game from a network computer at a business, corporation, library or school?

Using WYSE dummy terminal or a Windows Thin terminal off a server?

This code is an invalid client runtime code..

What versions of Windows are you running?

How is your computer connected to the internet?

Are you installing and running the game on your main hard drive or say a network or external hard drive/memory stick?

Any additional information will be very helpful.

I get a little error box with 'Code:800706BA' in it whenever I click the play button in the launcher or launch strait from Sparta.exe

Never mind, fixed my little issue.

All it took was the scrubbing of both AoE:O and Games for Windows Live from
the hard drive AND registry, and reinstalling them both. That brought up a
different error but it was in turn fixed by a simple restart.

i followed these steps point for point, but when i open the full games tab where it is said age of empires online should show up..... nothing comes?

issue: granny2.dll missing and unable to use full scan option

Hi there,

Like the title says i'm having some issues with granny2.dll missing, when i downloaded AoEO the launcher didn't do anything so i tried starting the spartan which then gave me the message that granny2.dll wasn't there...

I've been looking around and found that the solution for this was to use the full scan option, i tried it but sadly the full scan is grey :s

has anyone found a solution for this?

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling a number of times, but no succes.

Also have i tried downloading it throught the games for windows marketplace, but i can't even download it from there since it keeps saying i have to put in a correct zipcode >.<

Hope anyone can help!

So, I already tried in the the web, which its supose to be cheaper, it failed saying and error occured durings transaction and that i had to try it later, then I went to in game store, tryied to buy 2000 points which is more exprensive, but that code appeared, then i downloades the client for marketplace, also failed, i tried with 3 cards, soo? dont want to sell ? help plz

[Bug] Egyptian Alliance

I will try restarting the quest which is very inconvient but any ways the quest was to defeat the enemies and it says incomplete. I killed all the enemies even built a wonder and searched the map not a single enemy building stands or ppl.
