Hi,
I'm currently trying to transfer my empire from one server to another, but whenever I attempt to do so, I receive an error message stating that it was unable to complete due to an exception.
Any fix for this?
|||Do you already have cities started on the server you want to move to? If so, you'll need to move or delete the existing cities in order to switch over.|||No I haven't created any cities on the new server.|||Does it still happen if you re-launch the game and try again?

Just attempted to transfer again this morning, and still I'm getting the same error message.
Is it possible to fix this, or should I just restart and build a new empire on the server I want to play on?
|||Has anyone else run into this problem and found a way to get around it?|||Yeah I have the same problem. Unfortunately the problem didn't go away the last couple of days. I'm trying to move my city from the realm Athens to Alexandria. I too get the message that the move "failed due to an exception".
The only way around I know of is simply starting anew in the other realm, which is what I just did. :-(

|||I am also seeing the same error. I have tried to transfer my empire 4 times, and each time I get the error: "Transfer between Athens and Alexandria failed because of an exception.
This does not appear to be an isolated incident. I hope that we hear something on this soon...

I'm still getting the same error.|||I was able to successfully transfer from athens to marathon 5 minutes ago. It took about 2 minutes to complete.|||I successfully transferred my second Greek city from Athens to Abydos or the like so I could move my main city to Athens, but my main city, after giving it over ten minutes or so, got the same message as the OP got.
