The spartan catalog file is corrupt.

I know this issue has been going on for a week or so. But I wanted to know are they any other work arounds. Here is what I have done in full detail.

I formatted my pc but this is what I did before it

I cleaned my pc for beta files of project S [Failed]

I formatted my pc. [Failed]

I tried running administrator. [Failed]

I opened all the ports that were needed. [Failed]

I tested my microsoft updates and they were all up to date. [Failed]

I tried installing in new folders and folder. [Failed]

I tried full scan which one greyed out. [Failed]

I tried regedit [Failed]

I tried adjusting my router. [Failed[

I tried patchtemp which I don't have. [Failed]

I tried patchlog file [Failed]

I tried reading threads and support threads. [Failed]

I tried google searching [Failed]

I tried youtube searching [Failed]

Once again I formatted my computer [Failed]

I reinstalled windows market place [Failed]

I reinstalled the game [Failed]

I got my computer up to date 100% [Failed]

I got my firewall open [Failed]

What else can be done. This issue is utterly annoying. If any microsoft reps are reading this I hope you respond to this forum to see if they're are any other work arounds or "explain" how is the problem being worked on.

I agree. I hate this problem. I have tried to fix this problem and nothing has happened. It seems to be affecting possibly 1000's of us. Who knows maybe millions. But I can say this. I really hope Microsoft is doing something to help this problem. It is utterly annoying and I hope that whatever it is it stops.

I had in mind to go buy that greek civ pack today at the store. =[|||I was reading in deep the forums earlier and I was thinking I heard that someone was trying to create a "patch"for that earlier.|||Patchtemp files don't work. Because I don't have them.|||Patch as in like an actual download to fix the problem.|||I think microsoft are the ones in charge of that. The support team would be of no use. Some one already said that they fixed the servers. Heh. How did they fix the servers is 1000's of people may be having the same problem I am.

|||And yes, I tried the ccleaner when I had xp and it was no use. There doesn't seem to be any point in using a cleaner on a brand new formatted computer.|||My brother had this problem and he got around it. All he did was go to location of where all the files for the game are. Probably under Microsoft Games in Program Files x86. And he just clicked the launcher from the folder, and his game somehow started working again. Not sure why this worked, but you could try it. Worth a shot.
