Problem to conect to xbox live

Hi!

I downloaded age of empire online yesterday but when I will connect to xbox live the following message apperas:

“The live service may be unavailable, or there may be an issue with your home networking equipment or firewall. To check live status, go to www.xbox.com/support”

I have tested the network and firewall and it is not there the problem lies. I have also talked to the microsoft support team and they don’t know what the problem is.
Have you any idea what the problem is?

It's probably only because of the xbox live status being set to service alert. You can check the xbox live status at www.xbox.com/support

I'm currently having the same problem (even though I have opened ports in my router). It's a bit weird though because you see first I could play Age of Empires Online without opening any ports in my router, then when I tried to play about a week after again (I was on holiday :P) I couldn't connect for some reason. I found out that I had to open ports in my router and after that I could connect again.

If other people are able to connect during this time then I guess it could be something that we are both having problems with, otherwise it's just the xbox live servers!

Note that I had no problems playing yesterday so my guess is that it's the servers...
