Marions defeat: bugged 3 times in a row, what is going on.

[:1]I beat "Defeat Marion" in cyprus 3 times, and each time i dindt get credit for kiling hte final general, one time i even co oped it and my ally got credit but i didnt. Im very unhappy about such challenign and time consuming quests bugging, there should atleast be some sort of fail safe in place were if you wipe out your enemy entirely you win. Is there any help i can get with this or am i just not going to be able to do it until a patch or something.
|||I have same issue did the quest 3 times and no credit for last General each time, my buddy who did quest with me got credit for the last 2 tries. Very upsetting to do this quest 3 times with no reward!|||

try abort and re-accept the quest

try different units for killing/damaging the generals

I've had the same exact problem. My first general kill shows up but the last two dont. I even put watch posts all over the map, showing every square inch, killed everything (walls too!) and nothing.

I did notice that somewhere around the time the general kills didn't register that I started to get only 1xp for each kill, no matter what it was that I killed. I don't think that is normal, so perhaps that information can help the developers track down what happened. I also had one campfire that wouldn't let me get the chest out of it the last time I played that mission. Tried with 5 different units with no luck.

Online people suggested I keep it visible on screen (I was for all of that). They also suggested that I don't kill them too fast (I didn't the 2nd time this happened to me, took my time). Only thing I can come up with to try is to uninstall and reinstall the game, see if that helps. I just don't want to do the mission AGAIN right now, takes too long to not register as completed.

Seemed to work that time. I'm not sure if uninstalling and reinstalling the game is what did it so it would work, but definitely something for people to try since it might have been that! I did notice that the xp dropped to 1 per kill soon as the quest was finished in the map so if that is normal when you finish all of a quests requirements, it was registering before that the quest was done, just not totally registering.

Also had the same camp not allow me to loot it (and it was a heavily armed camp this time, bummer!)

I simply logged out and logged back in, not sure if you tried that yet, but thats your best bet before uninstalling and reinstalling :)
|||Hmm I'm doing this for the 5th time in a row this is beyond frustrating. I read all the comments but those are temporary fixes I think the Developers better find out whats the core problem. I have tried killing them before the forts (which is pretty darn hard) and logging off and back on it just doesn't want to give me credit. So I'm just skipping this quest till they fix it i'm not gonna hunker down another 6 epic gold mines and 2 bandit fortressesevery time.|||Try killing thegeneralsin adifferentorder.|||All the cyprus quests working finem but I was playing SP.
