Error: 8007013D

I realize this has been posted before, but none of those threads were of any use to me.

From what I've gathered this error comes from not having Windows Live ID or something along those lines, but when I try to install the Windows Live ID Assistant(name could be wrong but you get it), it tells me it couldn't be completed and it ends prematurely. Someone told me to turn Automatic Updates on and I did, but still no success. Any ideas?

Ok, I fixed the 8007013D error only to encounter another one. I'm now getting error code: 80070002. Any suggestions here?

Also for those with the 8007013D error, I followed the instructions here:http://www.techiecorner.com/112/error-number-0x80070424-in-windows-update-solution/, which allowed me to install Windows Live ID Sign In Assistant, which wasapparentlythe problem.
