Disconnects

The game has been working fine since launch but lately whenever I start a quest, about 20 minutes later it will disconnect me and say the server is currently unavailable. Other people on my server Abydos are not experiencing this so it is only me, however my connection remains stable as the internet is still working (chrome loads etc). I participated on the beta and saw some other posts regarding this as a potential problem. Could anyone suggest any fixes for this?|||i happens to me every 5 minutes, consider yourself lucky. No solutions have been found i think its just a crappy live problem.

Loved the gameinitiallyand got Season 1 pass when things were running smooth. Now I'm seriously considering trying for a refund. Sometimes things run OK for an hour or so, but most of the time its me just been disconnected after a few minutes.

When I complained a while ago I was told it was a problem with my router. Called up provider, had them fiddle around with things. Still no change. I have had NO other connection problems with other MMO's, just this one.

I may have a solution to this. I was constantly being disconnected as well.

Turns out everytime my kids turned the XBOX on it would log in and kick me from AOE. So I turned the Auto Sign in off.

Then everytime my wife would turn her lap top on it would log in (I dunno, Windows Live messenger maybe?) and Kick me off AOE.

So I uninstalled that.

I have not been kiced since!

Disconnect really annoying... Twice in hour,I can't play normaly.

Well just trying to help. Just keep in mind all, Anything that connects to Windows Live/XBOX Livelike an XBOX, A Windows Live Phone, Apps that show your XBOX LIve Friends, MSN Messnger, you name it will kick you.

Particularly other devices being turned on. Like I posted earlier I was getting kicked left and right everytime someone would turn something on!

This problem started yesterday.

I play 10 minutes and then bamm

"The server is not available at this time"

It started yesterday right after the long dowtime period;

They DEFENELY did something during that downtime that made my connection to the game VERY unstable...

Before that Downtime, first 2 days of game.. kind 0 disconnections..

After that downtime I get 4 to 6 disconections per HOUR..

Im not being able to do quests... considering refund also, but giving time to they FIX THAT!
ITS normal, game is new, but NEED to be address ASAP.. or will be the downfall of a great online game..

ROLLBACK what was done on last downtime period...
