Achievements not staying unlocked!

Hey guys!

So this is the first time I've ever encountered something like this and judging by everyone elses experience with the game your achievements are unlocking just fine and enjoying the game :)

However, every time I unlock an achievement (I have a greek premium, so don't worry, im not stupid!) the achievement re-locks itself after I go through a loading screen. Ironically enough, every time I load the game up, I unlocked the achievements I generally unlocked before (reaching level 10, doing quest with premium content, etc etc)

My question for you is, why aren't my darn achievements staying unlocked! This is a major inconvenience to me, don't get me wrong, I love this game and the achievements aren't everything, but I would love something that I have achieved to stay with me!

I even called Microsoft's number for Games for Windows, and the special person I talked to on the phone thought it had something to do with my computer, running me through installing programs that would fix an error with running the game, however I've been playing this game flawlessly beside the fact with the achievements.

If anyone can help this would be appreciated, or if anyone else is experiencing something similar!

|||I'm not having any problems with the achievements unlocking. What server are you on?
|||To be honest I'm not sure on which server I am on, I was on the very first one on the top if it's the same for everyone!

This has been a major problem with a few Windows Live games, for instance Where's Wally.

Search for the problem on this game, and try the fixes that offered up?

And I searched already, I couldnt find anything relating to my issue, got me a little scared I might have been going crazy
|||On another note. I'm glad I'm not the only one with 100,000+ gamerscore playing this game.
|||Haha, completely agree with you on that, I've been playing AoE since the first one came out, so I thought it was necessary to play this game...figured some people would see the achievement question as pointless, but it gets frustrating after constantly seeing an achievement you unlocked pop up and there would be no evidence of you actually unlocking it :(

Hi Grav, can you name some of the achievements specifically that you aren't able to unlock? Can you also confirm that you not only have purchased the premium Greek content but also downloaded and installed it through the Games for Windows Marketplace? You can do this by signing into Games for Windows Marketplace, going to the download section, and looking for the premium Greek pack.

|||NONE of the achievements are unlocking.
I mean every single one that should have been unlocked so far, and just to name a few, Fear The Gear, BFF, Sphere of Influence, Greek Polemarch, Green Thumb.

Okay.You should start by redownloading your Games for Windows profile. You can do this by pressing the LIVE button when you first launch Age of Empires Online, deleting your gamer profile (your empire data will be maintained), and then redownloading your profile by signing in with it.

Please let me know if you have any questions about that process.
